Public challenges are characterised by multiple interests, layered governance structures, and diverse perspectives. This requires professionals to be able to navigate complex collaborative settings, situations of controversy, and moments of impasse. Public Mediation develops learning and development programmes for policymakers, representatives of civil society organisations, companies, and other stakeholders working on complex societal issues.
The training programmes are tailored to the specific needs of the client. We work with current, real-world issues from practice. In our training programmes, we combine theoretical insights with simulations and reflection on participants’ own practice. In this way, participants develop a shared language and a repertoire of skills to deal more effectively with collaboration, conflict, and governance complexity in their day-to-day work.
Our learning programmes are designed for practitioners working on complex societal challenges where collaboration is difficult or has become stalled.
