Ikram Boubker
Project Assistant

Ikram works at Public Mediation on developing visual tools that support conversations and participation processes. She makes information clear and accessible and helps structure conversations through visuals.
In her work, she translates input from meetings into clear visuals and develops practical tools such as value cards and worksheets. Her particular interest lies in how visual communication and design can contribute to better communication within societal projects.
She previously gained experience at the Municipality of Amsterdam and Buurtteam Amsterdam, where she was involved in community-oriented projects and developed a strong appreciation for the importance of clear and accessible communication.
Ikram studied Applied Psychology at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA), with a focus on behavioural influence, social design, mediation, and coaching. She is currently pursuing a (pre-)master’s degree in Policy, Communication and Organisation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
